Marcus McEntire returned to Duncan in July of
2003 to become
affiliated with the Whitten Insurance Agency.
Marcus was born and reared in the area. He
graduated from Duncan High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Oklahoma, a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts degree from the
University of Virginia with a full academic fellowship.
Marcus has completed The National
Alliance School for Producer Development where he graduated in the top 2% of his
class. In 2004 at the Institute of WorkComp Professional’s Symposium in Chapel Hill,
NC, at Duke University, he received the Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA)
designation. Earning the designation means the ultimate stamp of approval and
recognition as a Workers Compensation insurance expert. He earned his Certified
Insurance Counselor, (CIC) in 2005.
His wife is also from Duncan. She graduated from
Duncan High School and attended Texas Christian University where she earned a
Bachelors Degree in Music Education. Currently, she is self-employed managing
her e-commerce business, www.distinctive-decor.com.
